June was a busy month of lambing and lots of fun. Final count 14 ewes and 12 ram lambs. All ewe lambs were sold by July. Only a few ram lambs left.
The weather has been on the cool side, but the grass has been growing very well.
Today is July 13th and we had a warm day, 70 degree's YEAH! Baby chicks came in July 9th and it got down to 43 degrees during the night. Needless to say the heat lamp is on.
We've been HOT, so the cool breeze and earlier thundershowers today have been most welcome. Since our grasses are cool-season grasses, we are all brown here now. Congrats on your sales!
