July 2013

It's been a busy since lambing season 25 lambs, 10 ewe lambs 15 ram lambs. Also had our first bottle babies this year. A very fun experience. : )  

May 2013

Finally some sunshine and warm weather, the snow is gone. Majority of lambing is done, but still a few I'm waiting on. Check the Lambs 2013 tab to see new arrivals.

April 2013

It's mid April and there is still snow on the ground. Lambing has begun. Photo's will be added on the lamb page as they arrive or I get better photo's. The black lambs are hardest to photograph for me. Sorry, I'll keep trying.

March 2013

February was a bear of a month. We had so much snow it was as high as the fencing. Needless to say, we had to bring most of the sheep in the barn. Only Reese's group stayed out as their shelter is very large and we could just feed them inside there.

Buddy's and PJ's group are all indoors, I had to split them up into 4 different stalls and photo's are not very good.

 

 

January 21, 2013 update

Well you know it's cold when you go out to feed the sheep and they are no where to be found! Usually everyone is lined up waiting for me. Not today. They waited until I got into the paddocks and then they came to greet me.
Temps are below zero, with wind chills from -10 to -25.
