End of year update.

October, November and almost December are gone. Where has the time gone?

A new season all planned out for next year with 5 breeding groups this year.
Am I crazy? I'm beginning to think so.

Here are a couple of the girls sporting their new coats from Rocky Sheep Company. They were put on as soon as we start feeding hay. We try to keep that wool as clean as possible.

Leighs coat is a little big.

September is here and there is a cool breeze in the air. Summer did not last long enough.
She had lots of pasture this year, we opened up two more fields and God gave us a lot of rain for lush pastures. The lambs are almost as big as their mama's now.

April 2016

April has been wet and snowy. Spring is taking its time and even teasing us some days. Lambing goes into full swing this month so I'm very excited.

March 2016

March has come in like a lion. Blizzard one day and 40 degrees the next. Getting excited for lambing to start.

January 2016

Winter has arrived. It was slow in coming and we are grateful for that.
Started feeding hay in mid December.
Did some heavy culling this fall.
